Conversations with a Two Year Old

It is time, once again, for another installment of conversations with a two year old (which, incidentally, will soon be appropriately changed to conversations with a three year old). The scenario this time is Olivia and I are in the car again, listening to music. Now, as I believe I have mentioned in the past, when Olivia hears any music on the radio that I haven't already told her who it is, she automatically asks if the band is Megadeth. Here is the Conversation:

Olivia: "Daddy, is that (pointing at the radio) Megadeth?"
Me: "No Sweetie, that is 3 Days Grace."
Olivia: "No, Grace is with Schruti!" (Schruti being the babysitter down the road who looks after a little girl
named Grace"
Me: "Not just 'Grace' Sweetie. The band's name is 3 Days Grace."
Olivia: "Two Grace's"

  1. I wish I'd written down some of the things my kids said when they were little - it's precious and so easily forgotten!

  2. That was hilarious :) My son is just getting into the funny sayings, and I'm writing them down, too. This time of being so literal is hilarious! Thanks for coming over to my blog today!
